Positive Pay

Positive Pay reduces fraud by validating checks presented to your account. Our system automatically matches the check details - the date, the amount, the payee, and the account on which the check is drawn - against your check issued to detect discrepancies such as:

Stale dated checks
Encoding errors
Duplicate serial numbers
Voided checks
Checks with an altered amount
Checks with an altered payee (with optional payee validation)

Peoples Bank also offers ACH Positive Pay, which allows you to choose which companies can submit ACH debits to your accounts and dollar amount maximums. Enroll in Peoples Bank Business Online Banking and Business Mobile Banking to receive Positive Pay alerts promptly and conveniently.

Advanced Login Authentication

Peoples Bank offers our Business Online Banking customers the highest level of security to protect you from fraud and identity theft. Our advanced login authentication requires the use of security token authentication which requires a two-step login verification: every time you log in to Business Online Banking, the Bank identifies you, and it lets you identify the Bank. Activating your token only takes a few minutes and we offer both physical token fobs as well as software tokens (soft tokens) that provide the added convenience of using an app installed on your mobile device.
