Grand Junction, Iowa (January 2018) Bank President & COO, John Rigler III is pleased to announce the promotion of 10 year employee, Derek Kennedy. Derek’s overall performance in previous roles and outstanding progress at Peoples Bank has earned him the role as Vice President, Market President in the Bank's Greene and Boone county markets.
Derek joined Peoples Trust & Savings Bank in 2008 in a loan administration role in Clive and has grown with the bank over the years. Most recently, Derek served as the Grand Junction Branch Manager. Derek has a strong credit background, excellent understanding of bank management and a real passion for his community. In addition, Derek has a farming background and is a Greene County native, a graduate of Jefferson-Scranton High School and the Iowa School of Banking.
Derek will begin his role immediately and share time in Jefferson and Grand Junction offices.
